Outlander notes: The latest on Richard Rankin, Sophie Skelton, Laura Donnelly
In the video below (courtesy of IGN), you can see a new clip featuring these two performers talking all about filming the Scottish festival — a key scene from the upcoming season. It’s a moment where you are going to see them explore some of their heritage and have a little bit of fun at the same time. This is very important for building the bonds between these two characters, which are likely going to be explored even more as the new season unfolds.

Given that Rankin and Skelton have such a great relationship away from filming, there’s also a great deal of fun to be had here just from listening to the two of them discuss some of their experiences on the scene. They talk about some of the dancing, getting into character for the scene, the music, and also of course joke about each other. It wouldn’t really be a video with Richard and Sophie if they didn’t poke fun at one another!
All in all, we’re just rather happy to see Starz continuing to promote these two characters so heavily and understand just how important they are to the overall fabric of the season.
