The Flash season 5: How to bring Wentworth Miller back
Ultimately, we do think that the producers have a few options to how they can make this happen — provided, of course, that they really want to. The first order of business is obviously going to be figuring out a way to get Miller back, which we know is not going to be the easiest task in the first place. He’s a guy with a great deal of flexibility, and that could include another season of Prison Break at some point in the future.
So what’s the best story idea of Miller as Leonard Snart … or Leo Snart? At the moment, it feels so much likelier that the show goes with the Earth-X counterpart, largely due to the fact that Leo is a character who fits so much more organically into the world. For starters, he’s the notable version that is still alive, and we don’t necessarily think that it is going to be that hard in order for the writers to figure out the best way to include him on the series. Let’s just put it this way — a villain comes from Earth-X and Leo can stop by with some ideas as to how to take them out.
Or, could Team Flash count on Leo’s similarity to his Earth-1 counterpart for a case? We do think that there is something interesting to this idea where Barry ends up recruiting him for some sort of heist. It’s just another opportunity to play up the comedy with this show, which is something that makes it a little bit different than Arrow.
Could you bring back Leonard Snart from the past? Sure, but we have a hard time imagining that the writers can do something that has not been done before. Also, it feels like now is the time in order to let Snart rest. He had a crazy, entertaining story on the show and now, we have to prepare for his story to come to a close.
