Z Nation season 5 premiere date; Younger season 6 moving; Black Lightning scoop
In a new post on Twitter, show executive producer David Michael Latt confirmed that the series is returning to Syfy with new episodes starting on October 5. There’s also a brief teaser below just for the sake of getting you hyped up more! Z Nation has become of the cable network’s longest-running shows and a consistent part of its lineup. Given that this is the sort of show where almost anything can happen at just about any time, we certainly are anticipating there being plenty more craziness coming in the weeks ahead.
As for some other news…
Younger moving to Paramount Network – After many successful years over at TV Land, the Sutton Foster comedy series is going to be heading to a new home in the spring. The Paramount Network is going to play host to the Darren Star-created series moving forward, and that goes along with the new series Emily In Paris, which is currently slated to premiere in the summer. Production for this series is actually going to happen in Paris, which should prove to be rather useful for the sake of authenticity.
Black Lightning season 2 casting news – If you liked seeing Sofia Vassilieva on Supergirl, you are going to be very pleased to know that she has also signed on for Black Lightning.
According to a new report coming in right now via TVLine, the actress has been brought on board the series moving forward to play the part of Looker, a character who has undergone many different iterations in the comics. While producers are keeping fairly mum as to what version we’re going to see here. All executive producer Salim Aklim would say is that “it’s really going to be interesting, the way we approach that story…. I think people will enjoy it, but also be challenged by it.”
