Big Brother 20 episode 29 review: Who won the Battle Back?
After all, it’s been clear for days now that Faysal was leaving the game, and there really wasn’t all that much of a need to focus on drama when it comes to that. Heck, the show didn’t really even bother to create a debate over the Battle Back; instead, they focused more on JC trying to convince Brett or Tyler to target Angela / Kaycee in the future. It was more about looking far ahead to the future than it was anything else. That’s fine by us, all things considered.

The nomination speeches were interesting to say the least — Faysal tried to throw Angela under the bus hard (it’s not going to work), while Haleigh seemed to be pretty genuine and kind. (Fessy made up the part about Angela controlling Tyler.) Faysal went home with a 4-1 vote, with Haleigh getting a vote via Sam. No shock there. Faysal’s interview with Julie Chen was okay, but it was slightly annoying he wouldn’t answer the question about who he would’ve used the Veto on.
Before we saw the Battle Back Competition, we did get a good sense as to what the jury house was like — and it was hilarious seeing how Bayleigh reacted to how terrible the evictions of Rockstar and Scottie were. The moment Faysal joined the jurors at the Battle Back, the first thing that he did was apologized to Scottie for what happened.
The Battle Back Competition was fast-paced and certainly high-energy, and it really did feel like it was over in a split second. Scottie won, and that means that he is back in the game! If you like The Hive, this is probably the best option since he at least has a chance to win a wide array of competitions coming up.
