Take Two episode 11 review: Christine Rollins’ personal story
Tonight, Christine found herself in need of Sam and Eddie’s help directly after it was determined that her brother Tyler was finding himself in a great deal of trouble — and could even have a horrific crime pinned on him. Tyler was a young guy with a history of problems, including multiple arrests, and because of that, he also was not the first person anyone would want to believe. Rollins knew that, and that’s why she tried to resolve the matter without getting the police involved.
This episode was a great one for Christine, a character who has at times existed on the periphery and it’s nice to see her have a case that isn’t about any romantic history that she had with Eddie. Instead, this was about her showing that she will do everything that she can to protect someone who she cares about deeply, even though this said person has a tendency to not get out of his own way. He’s just got this terrible tendency to get himself in trouble but after what he went through this time, including a near-death experience, you have to hope that this was the wake-up call that he sorely needed in order to change his whole life. If it’s not, nothing will be able to get through to him.

As a whole, you can say that Take Two episode 11 was largely about characters trying to cover from their mistakes and move forward, as that was especially something that we saw over with Sam Swift and her own sister. She was trying to make amends with people she hurt as a part of her recovery, and found that communication at first was difficult. Eventually the story started to work things out, and being a part of this case helped to make her a little bit more proactive in her efforts.
CarterMatt Verdict
Overall, we would say that Take Two episode 11 excelled in being a great chance to learn more about the Christine Rollins character. Beyond that, though, it also gave a few fun Sam / Eddie moments (especially the banter at the end) and showed more that this is a series about characters moving forward. It may largely be a story-of-the-week procedural, but there is an inspirational quality that exists here at the same time.
