One thing that is worth noting from a scheduling point of view here is simply this: We’re going now to a once-a-week format after the two-night premiere. With that in mind, we anticipate that there is going to be a slower burn with the remainder of the season.

The latest ratings

So how is the show faring at the moment in the numbers? There is some mixed news when it comes to the premiere ratings. The first hour of the season generated a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic coupled with 1.74 million viewers. While the total viewers are up versus the season 2 premiere of the show, the drama is down around 20% in the demo. The good news here, though, is that the premiere numbers are both up versus the season 2 averages — this does bode reasonably well for the future of the series. It is a little bit too early to know for sure if we are getting a season 4, but if these ratings hold firm, it’s easy to feel fairly optimistic that good news is going to come the series’ way in the future.
