Suits season 8: Media makes meal out of Meghan Markle comments

In what has to be one of the least-surprising news items of the week in regards to the British press, they are already having a field day over some of Meghan Markle’s supposed comments as to how much she misses Suits.

Let’s start with how all of the hoopla (if you even want to call it hoopla) actually began. According to Hello! Magazine, a fan named Fiona Moore had a brief discussion with Markle in Ireland … which apparently went a little something like this:

“I’m a fan of Suits and I said to her that I miss it and she said, ‘So do I’ … She seemed very relaxed and was joking and laughing.”

Of course, everyone probably wants to make something out of this because it’s profitable to talk about major Royal scandals … but it’s okay to miss something without actually wanting to be a part of it again. There are probably many things Meghan could miss about Suits, whether it be her friendships with her cast and crew to being in Toronto during the summer — it’s really one of the best summer cities out there due to the great weather and also the million or so fun things that you can do. This doesn’t mean that you wish you were back at work and not a member of the Royal Family.

Also, she may have just wanted to be nice to a fan who complimented her on a show that she was apart of. We don’t think it’s anything more than that. There is a part of us that does think it would be rather fun to see her once more on a possible Suits series finale down the road, but the odds of that happening seem microscopic at best. Just trying to arrange it would be a security nightmare.
