Queen Sugar season 3 episode 8 preview: Violet’s partnership in danger

It doesn’t seem to matter what part of the season we’re in when it comes to Queen Sugar, as it seems as though Violet is always going to have trouble. Sometimes, it has to do with the relationships that she has. Meanwhile, at other points it is tied a little bit more to what is happening when it comes to some of her business dealings.

Moving into next week’s new episode, though, it seems to be the latter that is going to be at the center of the story. She finds herself in some trouble and, beyond just that, other characters are going to find themselves in some other degrees of trouble. Some are for the greater good, and others are to get a better sense of self.

It is typically in this place that we’d talk about the show’s ratings or the chance that it comes back for another season; however, in this case it’s hard to really do that! Think about things this way: We didn’t have a new episode on OWN last week and because of that, it’s a little bit trickier to speculate on what the renewal odds will be right now! We’ll be able to check in again shortly on this subject, but for now we have hope that there will be more of Queen Sugar down the line. If nothing else, just think of things this way: Queen Sugar remains an enormous draw for OWN in terms of social media and so long as that persists, we have a feeling that we’re not going to see the show going anywhere in the future.
