Save Shadowhunters update: 11 million tweets, Seoul subways, and more
Beyond that, let’s now recognize something that we recently wrote about: The quest to get some #SaveShadowhunters advertisements on some subway stations in Seoul, South Korea — presumably to where some people on Korea’s Netflix staff and others could see them. You can see some more information on this happening in the tweet below. It begins tomorrow; at some point Wednesday we’ll have more about it if there are some pictures available. (If you are in the area, feel free to tweet them at us — with also credit to the photographer. We may use them for a piece.)
To date, we have already seen Shadowhunters-related advertising, generated by fans, everywhere from Los Angeles to also Times Square in New York City. There’s a chance that there could be some ads coming on London buses in the future, as well — along with whatever other creative ideas that the fandom comes up with.
Of course, we’ll have more on the subject of various campaigns when we hear about them.
Finally, good news for all Katherine McNamara fans — she will be attending the Italian Institute Con on Saturday. She confirmed that in a post on Twitter yesterday afternoon; if you want to get some more information about this, be sure to head over to the link here. Hopefully, we’ll get a chance to hear some notable quotes and much more on the subject of the show there.
