GLOW season 3: Alison Brie happy to do that, so much more

While a GLOW season 3 is not official as of yet over on Netflix, at the moment it does feel like an inevitability. The wrestling comedy has built a devoted following two season, and as of right now it’s probably one of the best binge-watching options for people on a relatively quiet Fourth of July.

At the moment, our feeling is that a season 3 of GLOW will be announced at some point over the next few weeks, and the cast are happy to share some of their optimism towards doing the show for that long or even beyond.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, star Alison Brie had the following message to pass along: “Give me six seasons and I would be happy. We’ve done two, give me at least four more and I’d be a happy girl!” Brie’s co-star Betty Gilpin agreed, and for the time being, we do think that six seasons would be the perfect length for a series like this. The world of GLOW only had its heyday for so long, and it feels like this show is a perfect way to capture a given period of the lives of many of these characters. They can take this on and then, on the other side of it, figure out precisely what they want to do from there. (Still, the idea of us only being a third of the way through GLOW‘s total story at the moment is an exciting one.)

Ultimately, we imagine that the future of GLOW is probably going to be one of those things that is addressed and taken on as the years go by — there’s no need for the streaming provider to announce a ton of seasons at once, and they will probably just announce some of the renewals in steady fashion over time if it continues to be as successful as it is right now.
