Fuller House season 4 video: John Stamos on Uncle Jesse’s return
In a new appearance on The Talk late last week (watch the video over here), the actor (who is also an executive producer on the show) made it very clear that he will be back in a handful of installments — which is probably what you would have expected from him given some of his appearances that he has made over the course of the series to date:
“Yes, yes, yes. I produce all of them, but I’m going to do a few episodes this year … This show… It’s comfort food and I think we just need that nowadays to feel safe and proud of who we are.”
The Netflix series has made it to around the sixth episode of season 4, and it seems as though production will continue through the summer. Signs point to a premiere a little bit later this year, and we have already reported that Bob Saget is also going to be returning. In a lot of ways, season 3 made it easier for Stamos, Saget, and Dave Coulier to return in the future by writing some of the characters into a situation in which they were closer to San Francisco once more. That’s something that could benefit all of them greatly in terms of being around their family … and of course that also benefits us as viewers since we want there to be some more opportunities to be able to see them around.
With Stamos, his life is certainly busier than it has ever been — not only does he continue to be key to everything on Fuller House, but he is also a new dad!
