Jersey Shore Family Vacation star Deena Cortese pregnant
In a new post on Instagram (see below), the reality star (who has been a part of the series since Jersey Shore season 3 that she and husband Christopher Buckner are expecting their first child together. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone who has watched the MTV series — Deena spoke about wanting to be a parent in the past, and this is something that she can celebrate now throughout the promotional process for season 2, which premieres on the network in August.
It goes without saying, but I’m so happy for Deena! It’s something that she’s wanted and her pregnancy announcement is fun and Fourth of July-themed. She also happens to be the fifth Jersey Shore star who is also a parent, joining Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, DJ Pauly D, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, and Jenni “JWoww” Farley. Ronnie just welcomed his own baby earlier this year, and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has expressed a desire to be a father in the future.
This announcement comes one week after the conclusion of the first season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation, which became an enormous hit for MTV as the network continues to tap into some of their nostalgic programming for viewers. To go along with the ratings, the network also received considerable critical acclaim for the new season, even to the point where they have been active when it comes to campaigning for the show to win an Emmy.
