Roseanne Barr claims she has already been offered new TV gigs
Speaking in a new podcast interview with Rabbi Schmuley Boteach, here is some of what the comedian had to say:
“Inside every bad thing is a good thing waiting to happen and I feel very excited because I’ve already been offered so many things and I almost already accepted one really good offer to go back on TV and I might do it … But we’ll see.”
Who would want to take the chance on Roseanne? That’s a question that seems extremely hard to know a qualified answer to, largely due to the fact that so much baggage with her is out there for all of America to say. They know that she was fired recently for making a racist tweet over at ABC and any other network/show that hires her will have to deal with the backlash that comes with this. Then again, there is also a chance that there is someone out there who may be desperate enough in order to deal with some of this blowback — we’re not sure that it’s a wise move for them in the long-term, especially so soon, but then again, we are not an executive.
This is the second major bit of news that has come out in terms of some comments Roseanne has made on the subject of her career recently. It also came out that Barr did not apparently request money to give the new spin-off show The Conners to another network, which has been greenlit and it could come on the air as early as this fall. Rest assured that we’ll have more news on the subject the moment that more is known.
