MacGyver season 3 premiere title revealed; filming starts soon
In a new post on Instagram via series star Justin Hires (Bozer) he revealed that “Improvise” is the title for the first episode back. That’s rather notable just because typically with MacGyver, we see titles that are based off of some sort of real, tangible object — it’s a little different to have something that is a little more abstract. It does, by and large, define MacGyver as we know. There is no one skill that he possesses quite like his ability to be able to get himself out of some incredibly difficult binds and tricky situations with what’s available around him. He’s also been able to pass some of that knowledge on the people around him.
“Improvise” is written by executive producers Craig O’Neill and Peter M. Lenkov, which makes sense given that you want to kick off your premieres in a big way with some of the people in charge. The two also wrote the season 2 premiere alongside David Slack.
One other thing worth noting from Hires’ post is that season 3 filming is officially going to happen in just a matter of a couple weeks! On the other side of July 4, Justin, Lucas Till, and the remainder of the cast is going to be hard at work making these episodes perfect leading up to the launch on CBS this fall.
