The 100 season 5 episode 9 return date: Murphy’s fire
Of course, we should start things off with another sad reminder that there is no new episode of the series airing on The CW next week. Instead, you are going to have to wait a while to see the series return — think in terms of Tuesday, July 10.
The 100 season 5 episode 9 synopsis that we have for you below offers up a little more news on the subject of what lies ahead:
FIRE – The growing fractures in Wonkru threaten to explode once and for all. Meanwhile, in Shadow Valley, Murphy (Richard Harmon) starts a fire, unleashing catastrophic results. Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Paige Turco, Henry Ian Cusick, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Chris Larkin and Tasya Teles also star. Ian Samoil directed the episode written by Miranda Kwok (#509). Original airdate 7/10/2018.
Basically, you’re waiting for what sounds very much like a potentially apocalyptic situation in which there’s a fire that could threaten much of what’s left of the earth. We knew that things were going to get violent this season, as that felt largely unavoidable from the moment we saw the basic setup for this season. Yet, we’re still seeing things evolve in a way that is so much worse than initial expectations. It feels rather likely that there are going to be some deaths this season and, to go along with that, a few other twists and turns that we didn’t expect coming in.
Unfortunately, we’re going to have to wait for it — though we suspect that the main reason for that is simply because The CW wants to ensure good ratings and they are not going to get that airing the show around the Fourth of July.
