Out of everyone that we’ve spotlighted so far for these articles, Scottie Salton is probably the one with the most villain potential. The 26-year old shipping manager from Chicago seems to have somewhat of a diabolical mind when it comes to the game — he’s also a superfan, which is an interesting combination.
Houseguest comparison – Scottie loves Evel Dick and respects the way that he played the game. He wants to be bold, upfront, and eliminate as much of the deceit and backstabbing as he can. He’s almost the evil, aggro-nerd version of Coach from Survivor. There’s also a chance that Scottie is actually Ronnie from season 11 and doesn’t know it yet.
Have they seen the show before? – Oh yeah. He’s a big fan who has clearly spent a lot of time thinking about some of his plans for the season.
Fun facts – Apparently, he cares enough about his time at AMC theaters that he mentions it on two separate occasions. He’s a 26-year old virgin who has never been kissed. He’s got a good chance of achieving the latter this season (even if it’s just out of fun) … probably not the former. Sorry Scottie. He’s also really into Frisbee golf, so he may be a little bit more athletic than he seems on the surface.
Early assessment – Scottie is someone we’re probably going to love having in the house just because he’ll give us good live feeds by stirring the pot and trying to keep good, interesting people in the game — at least in theory. His problem is that there’s really only one Evel Dick and we don’t see him being anywhere close to that. He’ll probably be around for a few weeks because he’ll shoot himself in the foot and not recover from it.
