Big Little Lies season 2 books American Horror Story’s Denis O’Hare
According to a report coming in via Deadline, O’Hare (whose credits also include The Good Wife and also True Blood) will be appearing in a recurring capacity across the second season as a character named Ira Farber who is new to the series. There isn’t too much more known about his role, but he joins Meryl Streep as a notable new addition to this season. The cast already includes the likes of Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, Adam Scott, and many more, with the premiere date expected to be at some point in 2019.
It should not come as much of a shock to anyone as to why Big Little Lies would be one of the most in-demand gigs out there. After all, it boasts a wonderful cast and airs on a network in HBO that has a reputation for some of the best prestige programming out there. We also know that it’s not such a time-consuming gig that will eat up the remainder of the year for any actor. It’s a show that gives you meaty, personal material that puts your performance front and center.
The story, by and large, of season 2 is shrouded in mystery. Given that the first season pretty much encompassed the story of the Liane Moriarty book, we are now moving into uncharted territory and we’ve got some serious questions surrounding what come be coming up next. Hopefully, HBO later this year will ease some of our concerns with some sort of larger sneak peek all about it.
