Animal Kingdom season 3 episode 2 preview: Who’s in charge now?
For a little more news on the subject of precisely what is coming up next, be sure to check out the Animal Kingdom season 3 episode 2 synopsis below:
J (Finn Cole) struggles to keep the family business afloat after Smurf (Ellen Barkin) enlists him to make sure all the bills get paid. Deran (Jake Weary) makes his own moves independent of the family. Pope (Shawn Hatosy) learns the ins and outs of parenting as he cares for Lena (Aamya Deva Keroles), and Craig (Ben Robson) makes enemies in Mexico.
Moving into this episode, it is pretty clear that there are still characters who are separated from each other and it doesn’t appear as though there is any real reunion in site. The struggle for J, we figure, is going to be struggling to figure out how to keep money coming in with so many changes. This is a show largely about crime and about family, and we don’t imagine these things changing. After all, thematically Animal Kingdom is still very much the same show that it always was.
