The Woman in White episode 3 return date; what’s coming up
Instead, in the case of this show there is going to be another installment airing on Monday night and we’re here to offer up some more information when it comes to what lies ahead now! Just take a look at what is coming via episode 3 below:
Sir Percival’s (Dougray Scott) money troubles drive him to try, by increasingly underhand means, to get Laura (Olivia Vinall) to authorise the release of some of her fortune. Anne, who is dying, comes to Blackwater to tell Laura the truth about her husband.
Overheard by Fosco (Riccardo Scamarcio), she arranges a time to meet with Laura when she will reveal Sir Percival’s most terrible secret.
Fosco tips off Sir Percival, who violently confronts Laura. With the two sisters feeling increasingly threatened, Marian (Jessie Buckley) resolves to find out what Fosco and Sir Percival are really plotting.
So what’s the motivation for airing this particular episode on Monday? We personally think that the motivation here is twofold. From one vantage point, it certainly makes sense to air two episodes in two weeks for the simple sake of building up drama and momentum. After all, this could help people become all the more invested in what is going to be coming up down the road.
Beyond that, though, there is another clear motivation here in that it may allow some scheduling advantages for the BBC, which may have some other Sunday programs that they want to get on the air this spring.

So far, The Woman in White is off to a fairly good start in the ratings — per Telly Mix, the series premiered with a healthy audience of 4.5 million viewers. While this was not enough to make the show the most-watched series of the night this is a more than acceptable way in which to kick things off.
