Preacher season 3 premiere date set at AMC; first photo
For anyone out there hoping for news on a Preacher season 3 premiere date, your prayers have been officially answered!
Today, AMC confirmed that the series, which stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Graham McTavish and many others, is going to officially premiere on Sunday, June 24 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time with new episodes. The premium cable network is clearly establishing a solid roster of programming in the months ahead, including Fear the Walking Dead, Into the Badlands, and now of course this comic-book adaptation. It’s one of the crazier shows that’s out there, but it does combine action and drama in a way that would cause some jealousy for the vast majority of other shows that are out there. This just looks like a really fun show to be a part of!
If you do want to get some other news as to what could be coming up on Preacher season 3, we suggest that you simply check out the attached synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:
Jesse Custer’s quest for God takes him back to the place he’s been avoiding his whole life: home. Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy return to Angelville, the Louisiana Plantation where Jesse was raised, and find old grudges and deadly obligations await them. With the help of his friends — and a few enemies — Jesse will need to escape his past… because the future of the world depends on it.
Really, one of the best things that Preacher could be doing for itself is heading back to Sundays. After all, the second season of the series aired on Mondays and it faced some significant challenges there — its ratings in the demo were down more than 30% from season 1. Hopefully, that changes within a new timeslot.
