Sammi Giancola finally talks about Jersey Shore Family Vacation absence
Through all of the speculation on the subject the past few months the answer actually turns out to be rather clear: Sammi is not a part of the show anymore simply because she doesn’t want to be a part of it anymore. This is pretty much what many people out there suspected: She recognizes that doing Jersey Shore is a toxic environment for her and it’s not one that she wants to continue to be a part of now that she is in a very different place in her life. She’s got a career with her business, a strong relationship, and she’s happy enough with that to turn away the hefty sum that would’ve likely come from appearing on this show again. Putting Ronnie and Sammi in a summer vacation house together again is like putting firecrackers in a barrel and while that makes for good television, it doesn’t make for a good real life for either of them and at the end of the day these are real people with real feelings.
When you think about why many of the other Jersey Shore alum chose to come back to the franchise, money had to be pretty far up on the list. It wasn’t just about all of them accruing more funds just from the show itself; doing Jersey Shore also leads to a multitude of branding opportunities, spin-off gigs, paid appearances, and other revenue streams. With the right financial people around you there’s a way to set yourself up for life based on the series alone.

Hopefully, Sammi is more than happy with her current life, given that we’re sure there will be more questions fired at her in the months to come to go along with even more invitations to be a part of the franchise and some of that could prove frustrating for her if she’s really just done with it all. Signs point to there being more Jersey Shore Family Vacation even beyond this season and another offer could be coming her way as a result of that. At this point, there many not be enough money in the world to make her come back.
