See new Poldark season 4 photo featuring Aidan Turner!
Luckily, this is what we are presenting here today courtesy of the fine folks over at PBS Masterpiece. This network, which is the American broadcaster for the show, recently shared (see below) a new image featuring Turner’s title character standing above the cliffs of Cornwall and the ocean. If there was a way for the beach to also be included in there somewhere we would probably go ahead and say that this is the most quintessential Poldark season 4 photo ever. After all, are there really too many more out there that perfectly represent what this series is? Maybe if you could find a way to throw the shoreline in there more, like with the photo above, it would be.
This photo does not give away all too much about the Poldark season 4 story, but what we can say about that right now is that things are going to be jumping forward in time to a certain degree, mostly so that we can see more of Ross Poldark within the political realm. Things have changed for him and he has new responsibilities; meanwhile, he is also more reliant on Demelza than ever before in terms of taking care of the home and the grounds. She has more power than before, but the state of their marriage is still not entirely clear after she chose to be with Hugh Armitage at the end of season 3.

New episodes of Poldark are unfortunately not going to start airing on PBS until presumably this fall — meanwhile, the latest season should premiere in the UK this summer. While it may be somewhat frustrating to have to wait a little bit longer for things stateside, it’s also pretty hard to sound especially bitter about it given the fact that we tend to get some many other shows earlier in America than pretty much everywhere else.
