The Flash season 4 episode 17 spoilers: More on Danny Trejo’s return
Is it a little bit strange to see Breacher back on the show without his daughter Gypsy? Certainly, but this is somewhat a function of scheduling. Because Jessica Camacho is working at the moment on Taken there is only so much that the CW series can use her. They don’t want that to stop them from being able to use Breacher again, and judging from the new The Flash season 4 episode 17 synopsis below a big part of what could make this episode interesting is seeing that the tables are somewhat turned and Trejo’s character actually needs Cisco for a change. It’s a sign that he respects him, and this should serve as a nice little bit of comedy in what could otherwise be a serious episode. At the center of it, after all, is The Thinker continuing to figure out where the remaining bus metas are as a means of starting to acquire some of their power.
Below, the Flash season 4 episode 17 synopsis offers up some other insight as to what’s coming:
DANNY TREJO RETURNS AS BREACHER; KEVIN SMITH DIRECTS — Barry (Grant Gustin) and Ralph (guest star Hartley Sawyer) take different approaches to finding the remaining bus metas before DeVoe gets to them. However, Ralph’s cavalier attitude frustrates Barry and the two clash over what it means to be a hero. Meanwhile, Breacher (guest star Danny Trejo) returns to ask Cisco (Carlos Valdes) for a favor. Kevin Smith directed the episode written by Lauren Certo & Kristen Kim (#417). Original airdate 4/10/2018.

This episode, almost certainly, is going to contain a number of big reveals and hopefully forward momentum in the story of stopping DeVoe once and for all. To date, the team has basically been stopped dead in their tracks at just about every turn.
