Madam Secretary season 4 episode 15 synopsis revealed
“The Unnamed” – Elizabeth and the team are caught in an uncertain situation when they are about to award a foreign leader with the Medal of Freedom but learn he may have known that a minority group in his country is being persecuted. Also, President Dalton doubts his ability to return to office after being cleared by his doctor, and a past family grievance is brought to light when Henry’s sister pays a visit.
There is a lot going on in this episode and we honestly we can’t wait. Elizabeth and her team will be on damage control once again when they have to investigate whether or not their Medal of Freedom recipient actually deserves the award. What’s different about this episode is the problem of the week is not a international crisis, it’s relatively on the smaller end. What we mean is that the problem that faces the Secretary of State is a PR nightmare. The United States could give a Medal of Freedom award to someone who may know about a specific minority group being persecuted in their country. This would not look good and we certainly do not want that so it will be interesting to see how this will be handled and what hoops Elizabeth’s team is going to have to jump through.
In addition, Henry is going to have to deal with a personal issue this week instead of one that involves the United States. So what past family grievance will come to light when Henry’s sister visits? It could be anything from a falling out the two had to an event that occurred between them or someone else in their family. There’s a few possibilities.
The other storyline the episode will focus on is with President Dalton. He will be returning to work after his doctor cleared him and what’s going to be interesting to watch is why he doubts himself. It is because of the actions he took when he was sick? Or is it because he is afraid it will happen again? Whatever the case may be, we are curious to see how President Dalton Weill handle it.
