NCIS: New Orleans season 4 episode 17 preview: Pirate treasure
Below, the synopsis offers up some more information regarding what is coming up:
“Treasure Hunt” – During the annual Louisiana Pirate Festival, the NCIS team investigates the murder of a Navy captain who was searching for a valuable 200-year-old marble and gold fleur-de-lis, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, March 13 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Overall, this episode looks like it’s going to be one part National Treasure and another part Pirates of the Caribbean — what’s not to like?

So what about Shalita Grant’s future?
There has been some confusion surrounding when her last episode is going to be, but we’ve now got a little more clarification — it’s not going to be this coming episode. She will be around until the 17th episode produced this season as opposed to the 17th one to air. That explains why her exit isn’t hinted at in either the promo or the synopsis. She’ll be around until April, and hopefully the series makes a meal out of her going and gives her a good storyline.
As for how the character will leave, signs point towards it possibly being a career change. She was given an opportunity to become more of a part of the FBI a little bit earlier this season after her success with one of their missions.
Hopefully, we’ll have more on Grant’s farewell in due time. Stay tuned!
