NCIS season 15 episode 15 video: How far will team go to stop Gabriel Hicks?

NCIS

NCIS season 15 episode 15 may not be coming on the air until Tuesday, February 27, but in the new video below, you get a good sense as to just what some of the stakes are going to be for the story coming up.

The stakes are especially high because of Gabriel Hicks. The notorious serial killer is on the loose, and NCIS finds themselves in a position where the only way in which they can stop him is by asking for help from the last person they would ever want to get help from — Paul Triff. The video below (via SpoilerTV) confirms French Stewart’s return to the series, and also gives fans a good sense of just what he is getting in return for helping the team — apparently, it includes a chance to hang out in his old apartment now owned by McGee. These characters should have an interesting back and forth given that Paul is probably not going to be the sort of character who is easily inclined to try to help the team. Why would he? He’s already in prison so he doesn’t really have all that much to lose; he may as well suck them dry.

Unfortunately, this promo doesn’t exactly resolve the cliffhanger at the end of this past episode, which saw Maria Bello’s character of Jack Sloane in a great deal of danger. While CarterMatt is confident that she is going to emerge on the other side of this in one piece, clearly the show is trying to make us wait on a resolution there for a while. We get that — why would they want to ruin the suspense? There’s no reason to ruin one of their primary incentives to convince viewers to watch — especially those who aren’t used to checking out the show live.
