Puppy Bowl 2018 live stream, start time, network, and pre-game show
Let’s start with the start time for everyone out there interested in watching some super-cute animals — including some from areas marred by natural disasters — “compete” for glory. The big game starts today at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time or 12:00 p.m. Pacific, so there really isn’t all that long to wait between now and when it starts. As it has every other year (this is the 14th year of the Puppy Bowl’s existence), the game is going to air over on Animal Planet. It runs for a while and you’ve got all sorts of great fun including a Halftime Show, cheerleaders, and all sorts of other assorted silliness.
The Puppy Bowl is just pure fun and there’s no other way to describe it. One of the reasons why we personally enjoy it is rather simple: It’s a chance to do something that isn’t just sitting around and watching three trillion hours of pre-game coverage for a football game.
So where’s the live stream this year? It seems as though both the Puppy Bowl and the Kitten Bowl are moving away from the behind-the-scenes streams this year and moving more towards just focusing on the game itself. (You can watch the game online through Animal Planet if you can validate your cable subscription — there is no official free live stream for the event. Know that if some other websites try to direct you to other places.)
What you can watch in preparation for the Puppy Bowl 2018
In what we personally feel is a super-cool move, the network has put up a pre-game show that will offer you up a cool chance to see some puppy-related fun well before we even get around to the big game. You can see that in its entirety over here, and it’s available without validating anything. Enjoy that for free from now until the start of the game! (Be warned if you want to get anything else done — the Puppy Bowl is that sort of vortex that will suck you in and you’ll complete lose track of the time.)
