NCIS season 15 episode 14 spoilers: Joe Spano returns as Fornell
NCIS season 15 episode 14 is entitled “Keep Your Friends Close,” and you can get a little bit more news all about what’s coming via the attached synopsis:
“Keep Your Friends Close” – After the body of a missing Navy commander is found, Vance orders Gibbs and the team to work with former FBI Agent Tobias “T.C.” Fornell (Joe Spano), the private investigator who was hired to locate him. Also, Bishop and Torres interview convicted investment advisor Albert Hathaway (Kevin Pollak) when the victim is linked to his highly publicized trial, on NCIS, Tuesday, Feb. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
We’re always going to be glad to get a little bit more Fornell on NCIS, largely because he is such a memorable character and key figure in Gibbs’ life. There aren’t too many connections that Gibbs has outside of the job that last for much of the series; Spano’s character is one of them. Getting Fornell back is a way to continue to establish some of Gibbs’ emotional through-lines.
As for the rest of the cast, we’re sure that the continued work of Bishop / Torres is going to inspire even more appreciation for some of the people out there who enjoy the two of themm working together onscreen — just remember that this does not necessarily mean that there are people rooting for the two of them as a couple. Maybe some people are, but there are certainly just as many people hoping to see the two of them back on the job together doing some of what they do best.
NCIS season 15 episode 14 is the last episode of the series before we go on a hiatus that is going to last for at least a little while. On the other side of this story, CBS will bring NCIS back on the air at the conclusion of the Winter Olympics, most likely in March.
