Heartland season 11 episode 11 preview: Ready for a little bit of fun?
Given that the past two episodes of Heartland on CBC have certainly proven themselves to be dramatic, who is ready for something different?
Sunday night’s new episode is currently slated to be a little more humorous than some of the ones that we’ve seen as of late; rest assured, though, there will still be plenty of the same signature drama and character work that you’ve come to expect from the show. Take, for example, what’s happening with Ty as he does his best to be a source of comfort. Who out there is rooting for Amy and Ty? Really the question should be is who isn’t rooting for Amy and Ty! The preview features talk about a nightmare and Geordie doing some training — one that raises some questions as to whether or not Georgie is stretching herself too thin.
Also, you had Jasper the dog trying to destroy a pillow, which may in turn be one of the most relatable scenes in Heartland history for any dog owner out there.
You can see an extended look at the episode ahead courtesy of the video that CarterMatt has for you below, which ends by setting up what could be one of the biggest storylines of this episode — Amy doing everything that she can to work with Oliver, a one-time racehorse who could be looking for a new owner. This episode seems to be a perfect middle-of-the-season installment for Heartland. There is no need to establish any sort of big, super-dramatic cliffhanger, and as a result of that the writers can simply dive in and play around with some of the characters and the relationships. That is at the heart of Heartland and is very much one of the reasons why viewers continue to watch — these are all people who, in one form or another, feel like family.
