NCIS season 15 in January: What do we know so far?

NCIS

After a hiatus that started before the holidays, NCIS season 15 is going to be bringing you new episodes starting on Tuesday. Following that, where are we going to see the remainder of the series go? That is the primary focus of this CarterMatt article!

We should start by reminding you of where things are entering the next few weeks of the season. The entire NCIS team is back together after the scare that happened overseas at the end of the show’s 2017 run. However, on Tuesday night they will be divided up once more as Torres takes on an undercover mission alongside Bishop. They are posing as a couple, and we have a feeling that this is going to lead to speculation aplenty about there being some sort of romantic future there … even though there may not be one. It’s hard to gauge something like this without actually seeing the chemistry between them during the mission.

Beyond Tuesday’s episode – We can say for certain that there will be at least one more NCIS in January, this time featuring a former fan favorite from JAG in a role that is essential to a case. Those of you who do love it when the show gets a little bit nostalgic should rather enjoy getting an opportunity to watch this storyline play out.

Unfortunately, there is no January 16 episode — CBS is instead airing the crossover with NCIS: New Orleans from last season, which in turn makes us wonder if there is going to be another crossover coming up this year. There is no official word as of yet if there will be new episodes on either January 23 or 30, but mark those dates in your calendar — given that the Winter Olympics are going to take much of CBS’ programming off the air for a little while, don’t be surprised if NCIS season 15 in January is a little more loaded with stories than you’re typically accustomed to seeing. It just helps to compensate for what is going to be a hiatus later.
