Chicago Med season 3 episode 5 return date: When’s it back on NBC?
The great news that we have to report here is that you don’t have to wait all that long at all to see Nick Gehlfuss, Torrey DeVitto, and the rest of the cast back on the air — Chicago Med will be back on NBC come Tuesday, January 2 with the first of many episodes that will be airing consecutively before the Olympics. Chicago Med is a show that really does have to make the most of however much time that it has in the schedule — it started late in the fall, so other than for the holidays and the Olympics we’d be shocked if there are any other big hiatuses that you’re going to see coming up.
If you want other updates as to what’s coming, CarterMatt has the full Chicago Med season 3 episode 5 synopsis below:
01/02/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : DR. CHOI AND GOODWIN ARGUE OVER MEDICAL ETHICS WHEN A PATIENT REFUSES TO TAKE AN HIV TEST BUT STILL DEMANDS TREATMENT – When a young woman with HIV symptoms and no insurance refuses to take the test, Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) and Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) attempt to treat her without taking a toll on the hospital’s resources. Natalie (Torrey DeVitto) and Will (Nick Gehlfuss) try to diagnose a young girl with increasing paralysis. Noah (guest star Roland Buck III) deals with his first death as a resident and takes it upon himself to inform the family. Sarah (Rachel DiPillo) continues to avoid work as her fear over the hospital’s security increases. Oliver Platt, Marlyne Barrett, Yaya DaCosta, Colin Donnell and Norma Kuhling also star. Eddie Jemison guest stars. TV-14
In true Chicago Med fashion you shouldn’t be altogether surprised that there is a lot going on here! You’ve got a number of big character stories, but the one that is the most interesting to us is seeing how Goodwin is going to find a way to help this patient without having some financial problems for the hospital in the process.
