MacGyver season 2 episode 11 preview: Original Jack Dalton actor returns
Where is Richard Dean Anderson? That’s a question we’ve heard asked many times before and we do think that he will eventually turn up; however, we do think the producers are looking to give him a slightly different role than just having him be MacGyver’s father … who you would assume he would be.
CarterMatt has for you the MacGyver season 2 episode 11 synopsis below, just in case you want even more news about what’s going to be coming up:
“Bullet + Pen” – The LAPD interrupts the team’s Christmas celebration to arrest Mac for terrorism when they find a body in a building destroyed by a bomb Mac built, on MACGYVER, Friday, Dec. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Bruce McGill, who played Jack Dalton in the original “MacGyver” series, guest stars as Detective James Greer from the LAPD.
Fun. That’s the one word we’d use to describe this. There’s a lot of fun holiday stuff that’s probably going to come about in this, and signs also point towards us getting a classic crime-TV story of one of the main characters getting arrested. It’s therefore up to the remainder of the team to clear his name. The good news for Mac is that he’s got some experienced folks around them, but he’s often the glue that keeps them together in the field. Jack doesn’t listen to anyone, Bozer is still a little green, and Riley’s skill set is best suited for hacking.
After this episode, alas, there is going to be a MacGyver hiatus that stretches into the new year. Episodes are going to resume on the other side of the holiday break, and hopefully there will be some fun and surprises coming up then.
