Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 8 return date: Alex O’Loughlin as a pilot!
It shouldn’t come as much of a great shock to anyone that there is no new episode coming on CBS next week. It’s Black Friday, so of course the powers-that-be at the network are keeping the Alex O’Loughlin series off the air for the week. It will come back on December 1 with an episode that should be a blast to watch! It’s a chance to see the Steve character undercover, and with that, he’ll likely have a very different personality to go along with it. Be sure to check out the official CBS synopsis below for more:
“He Kaha Lu’u Ke Ala, Mai Ho’okolo Aku” – McGarrett poses as a pilot to investigate the cause of a plane crash that led to the death of a pilot in an air race, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, Dec. 1 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
(“He Kaha Lu’u Ke Ala, Mai Ho’okolo Aku” is Hawaiian for “The Trail Leads to a Diving Place; Do Not Follow After”)
What makes Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 8 stand out should be apparent based on everything we just mentioned: There aren’t many chances to see Steve in a new environment like this. The only thing we’re concerned about is what happens when he splits up with the rest of the team. Does that mean fewer arguments with Danny? It definitely means a different sort of case but don’t assume anything.
In general, it’s probably fair to think that this episode would feel different than the one we had tonight. Just remember how unique tonight’s was from an action point of view — complete with car chases and stunts all over the place.
For O’Loughlin fans, this likely is going to be a great performance from him.
As bad as having to wait an extra week is, here’s the good news: We’re not even a third of the way through this season yet! There’s plenty more to celebrate coming up.
