The Flash season 4 spoilers: First Katee Sackhoff photo as Amunet Black!

Katee Sackhoff

Early next month on The Flashyou’re going to have a chance to see a new villain entering Central City: Katee Sackhoff’s Amunet Black. At the moment details on her character are a little scarce, but we know that she has some ties to Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) and the time in which she was away from the team. She had her employed in some capacity, and over the course of “Girls Night Out” we will learn more about that and also the association that is between Caitlin and Killer Frost. (If you recall, we’ve had a brief appearance already from Killer Frost this season.)

CarterMatt has some of the first photos from Sackhoff in this role to share with you! The first one is above and if you want to get a look at the full costume for the character, you can see that below. It’s certainly a far cry from her Longmire character Vic! (Just a reminder that the final episodes of Longmire are going to premiere on Netflix next month — we’ll have plenty more in the way of coverage at CarterMatt so be sure to check back.)

In the comics, this character (otherwise known as Blacksmith) was known for running a secret black-market operation for many years. She was a valuable asset to the Rogues/many villains thanks to her working with them to help them get the most of out of their powers. She offered support to a group of people who often didn’t find support elsewhere, but like with most things – it came at a cost.

Oh, and in terms of powers Blacksmith could fuse organic and inorganic matter. No word on if that makes its way into the show at all, but that’s a pretty serious power. While we may or may not see her powers on the show, this does give you a baseline for what you could see. We do like the design of the character for The Flash — she looks formidable, but also different enough that she is not just a carbon copy of some other characters we’ve already seen over the years.

What do you want to see from Katee Sackhoff as Amunet Black?
