Chicago Fire season 6 episode 6 preview: Big Miranda Rae Mayo story
None of this should be a surprise based on the direction of the story as of late. Stella Kidd has found herself in a number of precarious positions as of late, mostly because of her suspicions towards Hope. She knew that something was off with her and she was right to follow some of her intuition with Brett’s longtime friend. However, at the same time having intuition can come with some disadvantages — and we could see what some of those are in the episode entitled “Down Is Better.” For more, take a look at the Chicago Fire season 6 episode 6 synopsis below:
11/02/2017 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : FIREHOUSE 51 TAKES A HIT WHEN KIDD GETS TRANSFERRED TO THE PUBLIC RELATIONS DEPATMENT – After heroically saving a mother and newborn baby from a rooftop fire, Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) receives surprising news when she discovers she is being transferred out of the firehouse. Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Casey (Jesse Spencer) believe something is off about the turn of events, prompting them to investigate the situation. Otis (Yuri Sardarov) and Herrmann (David Eigenberg) discuss the possibilities of taking over a rundown bar and Dawson’s frustration with her father, Ramon (Daniel Zacapa), reaches a boiling point. Monica Raymund, Kara Killmer, Eamonn Walker, Joe Minoso, and Christian Solte also star. DuShon Brown, Eloise Mumford and John Gatins guest star.
The good news for Kidd is that she’s got some people on her side — namely Severide — who are going to help her with whatever this situation is. The problem is that, at least with Hope, she may not suspect anything as much as she once did based on the end of the episode. Her intentions were right, but since she found her check in the end, are her alarms still going off?
What’s also worth noting here is simply that Kelly and Casey are working together again! After the episode tonight had so much tension between them, we definitely had our concerns that this would be something that continued on into whatever is coming up in seven days’ time.
One other thing you should know here? Because of Thursday Night Football coming to NBC “Down Is Better” may be the last new Chicago Fire episode that you end up seeing for a while. NBC is billing it as the fall finale, and by the end of it there could be an “ending so shocking it will take your breath away.”
