The Flash season 4 episode 4 preview: Danny Trejo & Elongated Man

The Flash season 4 episode 4 is going to be airing in one week’s time, and at the center of this episode is none other than Breacher. This character, played by Danny Trejo, is going to be the father of none other than Gypsy (Jessica Camacho). there is a great deal of stuff to be excited about here, with one of the biggest things being seeing precisely how Cisco reacts to being around someone who is as intimidating and aggressive as Breacher can be. You don’t bring in an actor like Trejo unless your plan is to deliver an intense, fantastic character who excels at scaring the you-know-what out of people — maybe he does have a heart of gold somewhere underneath but this is probably not what you are going to see upon first glance.

TOM CAVANAGH DIRECTS; DANNY TREJO GUEST STARS AS BREACHER – Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is shocked when Gypsy’s (guest star Jessica Camacho) father, Breacher (guest star Danny Trejo), shows up on Earth-1. Breacher takes an immediate disliking to Cisco and decides to hunt him. Meanwhile, Barry (Grant Gustin) runs into his old nemesis, Ralph Dibny (guest star Hartley Sawyer). Tom Cavanagh directed the episode written by Sterling Gates & Thomas Pound (#404). Original airdate 10/31/2017.

The appearance of Dibny, who goes by the superhero name “Elongated Man” in the comics, is probably going to be the other main event of the episode. Early indications preseason suggested that Dibny was going to be a major character during this season — we’re not altogether sure that The Flash really needs another superhero in the mix so we’re very curious to learn how he fits in and who he fits in. At the moment, the show is still trying to find the right way to bring in Kid Flash when you consider that there are two superheroes in Central City now who are effectively good at doing the same exact thing.

One way or another, there’s a lot for us to like here at CarterMatt. The promo below gives you a good sense as to some of that, including the arrival of Elongated Man to the series — apparently, he does already have his powers. Hopefully, he is using them for good as opposed to evil.
