NCIS: New Orleans season 4 episode 5 video: Did Sebastian kill someone?
The sneak peek below gives you a good sense as to what happens to him, and seemingly everything starts off in a way that feels pretty standard for an NCIS case — Sebastian is off pursuing someone on foot who he believes to be a suspect, and does everything in his power to try to arrest them. The person keeps running until he makes it to an alley, and at the end of what sounded like a deadly altercation (the show does not allow us to see the scene), you hear the sound of bullets. Sebastian shot the man, and when the other agents arrive he says that he was about to get shot. However, there is no gun present seemingly at the scene.
What is so important to recognize about this scene is that it’s touching on something that does unfortunately happen quite a bit these days, and it’s a hot-button issue far more complicated than we can ever hope to describe within the scope of a single article here. What matters for Sebastian is that he is going to have to answer some tough questions here, and he could be put on leave until all of the information is collective. The show clearly wants us to view the situation as though we are one of the other agents in Pride’s team, unsure as to the exact sequence of events that transpired. Sebastian hasn’t been an agent all that long, but he’s not the sort to run in and shoot people right away without cause. That has to be taken into consideration here.
There’s also one other wrinkle we have to consider here at CarterMatt: The current state of the entire NCIS team in New Orleans. As a result of some of Pride’s actions there is more of a microscope on the team than ever before, and unfortunately, this is not going to help with that. Basically, the entire team at this point should just prepare themselves for constant investigations since it doesn’t seem to be stopping at any point in the near future.
