Survivor: Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers episode 4: The first tribe swap
Well, this season we’re getting a tribe swap at episode 4! Everyone is going to have a chance to see their game be shaken up in an enormous way. These three tribes will be swapped into two, which means that there will either be one tribe with a majority or one person who is sent off for a little while into Exile Island or the like. There are some tribes who will be devastated in a pretty big way, and the same goes for alliances. There are showmances that were starting to form with Jessica/Cole and with Ashley/JP, but that cannot continue at this point. Meanwhile, Ryan and Devon were running the show over on the Hustlers and this pairing could be broken up.
If we had to sit here and say that one tribe is at present more set up for a long run than some of the others, it would probably be the Hustlers. Even though they only have four people on their tribe, they’re a tight and battle-tested four. The Heroes tribe seems to be very much divided, and there are questions about the Healers just because we haven’t seen them turn up once at Tribal this season. We don’t know how that is going to go when they show up.
Now, let’s spend a moment reflecting on what happened tonight. Patrick is gone, and that is the one bit of momentum that the show is losing now — wasn’t the dude dynamic, even if he wasn’t the sort of person many out there were probably rooting for? He’s definitely one of those people who really voted themselves out of the game as a result of his own actions. He was otherwise such a resource for the group if he kept himself together.
