Lucifer season 3 episode 2 preview: Searching for Sinnerman

Lucifer season 3 epsode 2

Tonight’s Lucifer season 3 premiere brought your way plenty of drama — and we also learned the name “Sinnerman” for the first time. We saw that this character is extremely sinister, and they will do almost anything that they can in order to keep their history and their identity a secret.

Given that Lucifer hasn’t quite experienced many threats like this before, you can imagine that moving into Lucifer season 3 episode 2 that he’s going to be desperate to find this person and get the answers from them that he so speaks. Most notably, he’ll probably want to know why in the world all of this happened to him in the first place. If there is one thing that title character has shown he enjoys, it’s learning about news that he did not expect or losing control. So long as the Sinnerman is out there — and killing some of his own associates — Tom Ellis’ character cannot have that control.

Below, you can see a little more insight regarding what is coming up next:

“After Lucifer removes his wings yet again, Linda becomes concerned that he is too focused on tracking down the Sinnerman and neglecting his own well-being. Tensions continue to rise between Lucifer and Chloe, but they realize they must put their differences aside to solve a case in which Lucifer takes a sudden interest. Once Detective Pierce’s past is revealed though, everyone realizes that the Sinnerman is much more dangerous than they thought in the all-new “The One With The Baby Carrot” episode of LUCIFER airing Monday, Oct. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (L-302)”

For those of you who were hoping to get something in the vein of significant answers about the story ahead in the promo, you’re probably going to be a little bit disappointed. The thing that we are the most interested in learning about at the moment is the connection between Pierce and the Sinnerman, given that he seemed to be far more of a man of convention in the premiere and not someone who would be attached to whatever sort of bizarre entity he is. What could this connection mean in terms of the rest of the cast and the show’s future? Time will tell there.
