DWTS Premiere, Cheers theme song, Price Is Right: Drew Carey’s 10th Anniversary
My favorite part? It had to be the repeated shout-outs to Oprah. The talented woman hasn’t been on daytime TV in years and she is still one of the most recognized TV icons of our time. Of course she is on screen today with other shows, but if this was Jerry Springer or David Letterman would stars have given so many shout-outs? Nah. It’s because she is Oprah!
Dancing With the Stars premiere
If you see me driving irrationally on Monday night to the CBS studios, I suggest you get off the sidewalks. The Dancing With the Stars premiere is on tonight and fans, like myself, can hardly wait. The glamour of this event is spectacular and so is the introduction of all the celebrities. This is the only time fans will get to the see the competitors in rough form. Once they start practicing week to week, they will lose one of their two left feet and by the end gracefully float on the ballroom.
The DWTS premiere is always one of the best shows of the season (the other being Disney night) so get your paddle ready and your sequin dresses on. The best celebrity reality show of the season is about to begin!
My prediction for the Dancing With the Stars winner? I believe it’s going to be Nick Lachey or Drew Scott who wins.
Drew Carey celebrates the 10th Anniversary on Price is Right
It seems like only yesterday when Drew Carey started on The Price is Right. Believe it or not, it’s been 10 glorious years that the talented celebrity took over the helms of the show and awarded thousands of prizes to viewers. If you’ve ever been to a live taping you know that Drew isn’t just another dude on TV. He mingles with the audience during the breaks, is super kind and always takes time for the fans. On TV he makes every win (and loss) a reason to turn on the show as his compassion and kindness grabs viewers in a spectacular way.
Audi puts a spin on Cheers TV theme song
If you watched the Emmys last night on TV, you probably saw the Cheers TV theme song. This intriguing way of performing a hit was complimented by an orchestra. Extraordinarily impressive and immediately identifiable, it reminds viewers that good TV can last decades. Perhaps that’s why the other TV theme songs Audi shared with the world are equally as intriguing. The Audi commercials have shared the Star Trek theme song and the Mary Tyler Moore Show theme song too.
Finally…
After a long weekend, a huge Emmy night and plenty of TV news, I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you to take a minute to program your DVR. The season premieres are coming with some less than a week away. Shows like Will & Grace, NCIS: Los Angeles and others are debuting a new season soon. Be ready with your action plan as Fall TV is about to happen!
