Designated Survivor season 2 episode 2 spoilers: The hunt for Patrick Lloyd

Can Patrick Lloyd be found? Entering Designated Survivor season 2 episode 2, one of the things that we anticipate seeing is resolution. We know that the show has this big loose end still out there from season 1, and in order for Hannah Wells to start to move forward into some other things, we do think this needs to be resolved.

Luckily, this early October episode (which carries with it the title of “Sting of the Tail” may be a way in which to do that. If you look below via ABC, you can get some additional details all about what you can anticipate seeing over the course of this hour, including how the President finds a way to get involved:

“FBI Agent Hannah Wells finally closes in on Patrick Lloyd, but when the president decides to take action during the White House Correspondents Dinner, members of the Homeland Security Council threaten to derail their plans.”

First of all, can we just say that we’re glad that Kirkman seems to be going to the White House Correspondents Dinner? Apparently, this fictional President is more interested in keeping up traditions than the real one is in Washington. He is going to do just about everything that he can in order to ensure that he has his ducks in a row to ensure that he finally gets what he wants here; yet, nothing is ever this easy! There are always people floating around out there with different agendas, and this should be at this point something that Kirkman should be very much prepared for. Hopefully as the second season rolls on he’ll start to show that he’s become a whole lot better at tackling some of these difficult situations. They are not always easy ones to handle, but as President, it’s his responsibility to sort through the rubble and figure some of these out.

Also, if he is able to resolve matters with the Homeland Security Council, who knows? Maybe he will find even more respect for his authority down the road. Everything with this show is a process, and there are probably even more learning experiences for Kirkman coming up. We’re definitely excited to see how the season unfolds.
