Fuller House season 3 trailer released via Netflix
The season will be spilt into 2 parts. The first half will consist of 9 episodes premiering on September 22 and the second half’s release date has yet to be announced. It will also celebrate the 30th anniversary since Full House first debuted on our television screens.
The trailer begins with DJ, Stephanie, and Kimmy addressing the 30 year anniversary since Joey and Jesse came to help raise them. Uncle Jesse (John Stamos), Joey (Dave Coulier), and Danny (Bob Saget) all will make a guest appearance in the first episode in the same clothes they wore when they first moved in.
It’s a cute reminder of the beginning of the family classic television show we all know and love.
We then get glance at where we will pick up Season 3 at. Stephanie is still dating and in love with Kimmy’s brother, Jimmy, and DJ is going to be a bridesmaid in Steve’s wedding. However, this season will be different from the rest because part of it will take place in Japan after Steve announces that’s where he’s getting married.
This isn’t a complete surprise given that Candace Cameron-Bure posted photos on Instagram documenting the filming in Japan. However, this move makes Season 3 exciting and new and even reminiscent of when Uncle Jesse had a number one hit in Japan (another way to celebrate the 30th anniversary).
The rest of the trailer previews some of the funny and happy moments that will occur throughout the season. As well as the hard moments to accept like DJ accepting that Steve is marrying someone else.
Basically the theme for Season 3 appears to being bring back all of the wonderful moments from the original series while adding a new twist to them. It’s a great way to keep fans coming back. Of course, the series will be continuing some storylines from the previous season, such as DJ and Matt’s relationship and, we assumed, Kimmy’s complicated relationship with her ex-husband, Fernando.
Overall, be sure to check the third season of Fuller House out next week to remind yourself of the show you first fell in love with.
