See new This Is Us season 2 promos via NBC
The first promo is titled “This Is Marriage”. With Mandy Moore’s voiceover in the background describing to the audience that in every marriage someone needs to be the one to push for the moments that are unexpected, the audience is given a look at the new season. We see a lot of Kate and Toby as he gets her ready for a singing audition. Kate appears nervous and unconfident in the brief scene of her at the audition, but then we hear Toby’s voice encouraging her that she can.
We also got a glimpse at the promo picture that we previously covered at CarterMatt. The scene was an argument between Toby and Kevin which, he tells Kevin that he wants to be Kate’s person because he’s her future husband. We don’t get to see Kevin’s response but we can see that Kevin’s close relationship with his twin sister isn’t going to be easy for Toby to understand.
Fans will also see the sneak peek scene between Randall and Rebecca which as fans know will help Randall decide if he wants to adopt or not.
The second promo titled “This is Family” showed fans that we will be celebrating another Big Three birthday while also showing scenes from the Big Three’s teenage years. As music plays in the background we got a first glimpse at Randall’s adoption process showing him with a baby looking lovingly at it. The promo even showed Kevin and Sophie looking happy as they kiss. Finally, the promo briefly showed the moment that where Jack and Rebecca end their separation when Rebecca shows up outside Miguel’s place.
Overall, the newly released promos only make us even more excited for the Season 2 premiere because we certainly got all the feels while watching. It definitely appears to be a season that will raise the bar from Season 1 and we didn’t think that was possible. However, just like always, the writers have fooled us and are about to take us on and even better roller coster ride that is This Is Us.
