New Tonight: TNT’s Claws finale, I’m Dying Up Here, Game of Thrones, more
Want to know what is coming up in primetime on Sunday, August 13? This is, as it turns out, a rather busy night of programming! There is a lot of good stuff coming up, and with that, you’ve got quite a bit to look forward to … and to set your DVR to watch given that there’s a lot of stuff all collectively airing at around the same time.
Teen Wolf (8:00 p.m. Eastern, MTV) – This episode marks the directorial debut of one Tyler Posey, and with that, you’ve also got a story that should further explore hunter mythology.
Teen Choice Awards (8:00 p.m., Fox) – We do think that the awards show has lost a little bit of its luster over time, but there are still some reasons to watch if you like some of the actors who are taking part.
Big Brother 19 (8:00 p.m., CBS) – Here, you’ll see the final Temptation Competition play out, plus some of the aftermath to what we saw transpire with Jessica’s eviction from the game.
Twin Peaks (8:00 p.m., Showtime) – In true Twin Peaks fashion, nobody is really saying all that much at all in terms of what’s coming here.
Claws (9:00 p.m., TNT) – It’s the season 1 finale, and with that an opportunity to see if Desna’s future is completely intact in the way of a murderous plot and constant business complications. This is a show that’s always had quite a bit going on!
Game of Thrones (9:00 p.m., HBO) – What’s coming up following the injury of Drogon? You’ll get a chance to see, plus some more danger coming in the North. There are only three episodes left this season…
Power (9:00 p.m., Starz) – Is Mike Sandoval finally going to be pinned as the guilty party for everything that transpired with him being the mole? We’re going to see him put even more in the crosshairs.
Ray Donovan (9:00 p.m., Showtime) – We’re going back in time to an earlier anniversary for Ray and Abby, and in the process learning more about a trip to Las Vegas.
I’m Dying Up Here (10:00 p.m., Showtime) – This is the season finale, though in some ways it could end up being the series finale given where the ratings are for the show at present.
HBO’s comedy block (10:00 p.m., HBO) – You’ve got another episode of Ballers season 3 coming tonight alongside Insecure season 2. There is also going to be an extended episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver that will run about 35 minutes at the conclusion of these two shows.
Note that there are obviously some other programs that are coming up tonight; these are just the ones that we’d say you should take note of for the time being.
