Bull season 2 spoilers: Brad Garrett to lend Bull a helping hand
According to a report from TV Guide, the Everybody Loves Raymond alum will be appearing in at least one episode in the role of a legendary attorney, someone who Michael Weatherly’s character will call up when he finds himself on trial and is in need of some help. We know that Bull likes to get a little controlling in the courtroom, so we hope that this character ends up being someone who is formidable and able to tell Bull that he knows best in certain occasions.
Also, it will be nice to see Bull up against the ropes in some capacity. One of the biggest challenges that was here with the show in the first season is that there wasn’t always that much in the way of stakes — Bull won almost every case to a certain extent, so there wasn’t all that much of a threat present the vast majority of the time.
Garrett has done a wide array of different shows since wrapping his work on the world-famous sitcom, starring in his own show ‘Til Death before taking on roles in Fargo, Law & Order: SVU, How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life), and The Crazy Ones alongside the late, great Robin Williams.
What else is coming in Bull season 2
If you missed it, Minka Kelly of Friday Night Lights / Charlie’s Angels is going to be appearing as one of the upcoming defendants in a case where Diana Lindsay (Jill Flint) will be present. Just because of her history with Bull there’s always going to be a sense of added drama when the two parties are in the same room together. We figure that even more notable names will come out with this show over time, especially since this is a show where guest stars can come on and get some exciting material almost right away. There is also a near-constant need for them given that there are new cases almost every week, and with that also comes the opportunity to see a wide array of notable guest stars. Sometimes, they can play allies of Bull or defendants that he is looking to protect. At other points, they can be people on the opposite side of the bench, who are trying to stop him from achieving his goals in the courtroom.
More than anything else, we’re just happy to see any TV titan like Garrett stop by this show — it gives it that much more clout than it had beforehand.
