Killjoys season 3 episode 7 spoilers: Dutch’s big gamble

Next week, Killjoys season 3 episode 7 should offer a few various reminders: With the terrors of war being at the top of the list. Dutch and some of your other favorites are obviously having a rough time keeping their head above water. They’re also starting to get into desperate times … which means, in turn, that they’re probably going to be down for some desperate measures.

This upcoming episode is entitled “The Wolf You Feed,” and judging from the recently-released synopsis of the hour we’re going to be seeing a life-threatening situation unfold … though if Dutch’s risk proves worthwhile, it could also turn the tide as we know it.

We are certainly in the midst of the home stretch this season, but as the story unfolds further, so will the surprises. Also, the same goes for the possibility of something so devastating that it shakes the show to its core.

Who’s excited about some season-high numbers? We certainly are given that they signal that we could be getting closer to a renewal being handed down by Syfy. This past episode generated in total a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic and then also 720,000 total viewers — 80,000 more than any other episode so far this season. This helps to boost the show’s average dramatically, and Killjoys is now down less than 4% in both viewers and the demo versus season 3.

Just to make things all the more notable, the last episode of the series to generate higher ratings than this was July 29, 2016 — halfway through the show’s second season. This is a great testament to the show’s fans that they keep coming back … and also probably a sign that more viewers are staying clear of the outdoors now that it’s the hottest time of the year and nobody wants to deal with that. We’ll see if that hypothesis turns true and there are a similar number of viewers flocking to the show in seven days’ time. (We like reviewing some of the show’s ratings in these preview pieces.)
