Line of Duty season 4 episode 5 spoilers: Roz Huntley’s drama hits home
One of the things that is especially interesting right now is seeing precisely how much the walls are starting to close in on Thandie Newton and her character of DCI Roz Huntley. It doesn’t appear as though the character has any real escape from the investigation. She’s gotta deal with the AC-12, and then at home, she also has troubles courtesy of Nick. The only real hope (though that seems like the wrong word, given that we’re not sure we want to assign hope to Roz) is that the AC-12 as a unit seems to be in trouble thanks to Hilton’s order. We’ve seen this unit be forced to take on some difficult cases pertaining to the police before, but somehow, we have a feeling that this is going to be even more trying than any other that we’ve seen her take on so far. Let’s hope now that the drama and the excitement the rest of the season lives up to what we’re expecting at this point.
Line of Duty season 4 episode 5 synopsis – “AC-12’s future hangs in the balance, after Hilton bars them from investigating Roz Huntley … But Roz’s problems are building closer to home.”
In a true sign that there are big things ahead this season, the folks over at the network are not altogether interested in giving anything away. What we do know is that after Roz turned the tables around on the AC-12, they are going to be more motivated than ever to try to take her down. It will be rather ironic if it is Nick, and her own treatment of him at home, that is the thing that ends up stopping her in her tracks.
