Blindspot season 2 episode 17 spoilers: Jane and Oliver in danger

Where will see the story go on Blindspot season 2 episode 17 after tonight’s installment? Well, expect to see some more drama, and to go along with that, two characters in Jane and Oliver who are going to need all of the help that they can get as they find themselves in an extreme sort of peril. They’ve got some feelings for each other, but just like almost everyone else within this world, there are some serious trust issues that are going to be played at from almost start to finish during the hour. The reality for Jane is that she’s been burned — many times. We don’t know how she is able to trust anyone in the future ever again.

If there is one big of silver lining / good news for Jane going into this episode, it’s that she does continue to have some friends who are willing to be at her side. This includes Weller and the rest of the team trying to track her and Oliver down.

Blindspot season 2 episode 17 synopsis – “Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and her new flame Oliver (guest star Jonathan Patrick Moore) find themselves in a dangerous situation that exposes the secrets they’ve both been keeping. Uncertain if they can trust each other, the couple must stay alive while Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and the team race to save them.”

On a meta level, one of the more interesting things about this episode to us is the title: “Solos.” Almost every title for this episode is an anagram, and this is the first one to only have one word. The closest that we’ve come to this before was the episode “If Beth” (translated to be “The FBI”) from earlier this season.

Beyond all of this, we anticipate the remainder of this season offering some further answers on Sandstorm, while at the same time setting the table for what a Blindspot season 3 could be. There’s no renewal, but we don’t foresee this being a show planning to close the door on Jane’s journey in May. We’d be shocked if we left off without a cliffhanger.
