‘Chicago Justice’ spoilers: Bradley Whitford added for ‘Chicago PD’ – ‘Chicago Fire’ crossover
On Wednesday March, 1, we are going to see a very special premiere for “Chicago Justice” that comes in the form of a three-night crossover event. There will be special episodes of both “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago PD” on the night, and these two are going to lead the way for the new spin-off series to come on the air, hopefully with the biggest splash possible.
Based on the latest casting news, we know that there is certainly quite a bit worthy of being excited about. As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, “The West Wing” alum Bradley Whitford is set to play a formidable legal opponent in Albert Forest, one of the most prolific and powerful defense attorneys within the greater Chicago area. He’s not someone known to be a purveyor of truth so much as he is someone who will use whatever dirty trick that he can in order to influence juries and get precisely whatever it is that he wants.
Suffice it to say, this character could be in harsh opposition to Peter Stone (Philip Winchester) and many of the other people who fight on the right side of the law on the series. The show has an incredible cast, one that includes the likes of Carl Weathers, Joelle Carter, “Chicago PD” alum Jon Seda (Antonio Dawson), and Monica Barbaro. Production has been underway as of late on the epic crossover, which is something that “Chicago PD” cast member Marina Squerciati spoke to us about in a new interview that is going to be published on Wednesday, prior to the return of “Chicago PD” to the air.
What do you think about getting Whitford onto the early days of “Justice”? Is this the lift the show needs in your mind? Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments right now!
