‘The Bachelor’ episode 2 spoilers: Rachel Lindsay, Raven Gates stand out as Nick Viall favorites
Tonight, “The Bachelor” premiered featuring Nick Viall, and it was precisely what anyone out there could expect: It was silly, fun, and by and large incredibly entertaining. Most of the eliminations were predictable, but that’s okay given that the real goal of the show is to try and figure out who is the right person in the end, while being entertaining along the way. It’s better to cast out some of the less-interesting people early who are not going to win at the end of the season.
So where is the season going to go from here? Really, all over the world. We’ll have tropical locales, visits to hometowns, and eventually some romance in Finland under the Northern Lights. Based on the previews that we’ve seen over the last two days, there are two women who clearly stand out.
Rachel Lindsay – She got the First Impression Rose for a reason, and it certainly looks as though she’s going to be around for a long time. At the very least, she was seen in one particularly exotic destination. We’d claim that this is the show giving away a big spoiler, but it’s pretty commonplace that the recipient of the first rose of the season goes far.
Raven Gates – She had some fun moments in the first episode, and we also get the sense now that she’s also going to make it far. She’ll probably be a fan favorite just because of her sense of humor and her unique accent alone.
Of course, there are going to be some other notable women this season, as well — it definitely looks like Corinne Olympios will be the villain of the season, just because of how aggressive she is with Nick — and as a result of that, how unfriendly she is with some of the other women.
